Tale of 3 travelers (Part 2 Chapter 1)

(PART 2) ~E.R~

She awoke in a hospital bed, staring at the ceiling while hooked up to an IV. She stood up a little to find the room empty except for Damon...

He was asleep, elbows at bed side, laying on his side while sitting in a chair obviously drooling away.

The fluttering storm of butterflies took hold of her.
A doctor and Elias stepped in.
She wore a white coat, stethoscope and blue scrubs underneath and her name tag read Ms. Sanchez. "Hello, Miss," Ms. Sanchez looked at her clip board. "Miss Forester, let see... Ah, it looks like you had a nose bleed at school and afterwards you passed out after an entire day," she flipped some pages and read on.

"Um, I had laughed too hard and– um I think that’s what triggered it..."

"Yes, well we’ll need to keep you here to run some tests," Ms. Sanchez smiled and left the room.
"Bye,"

By the time the conversation was over Elias had pulled a stool and sat next to her. His elbows rested on his knees with his hands drooping down and head bowed he sighed heavily, almost shaking.

All she could remember was walking home an the fleeting image of his face.

"Um," a puzzled look washed over her face. "Why is he," she whispered.

No Answer.

A long silence passed, the only noise was Damon’s rhythmic breathing and the drip, drip of the IV fluid.

"I thought," Elias barely spoke. "You, where...," he was shaking. "Dead..." he broke out into a small sob.

Karin heard Damon’s abrupt stop in his breathing, like a pause of silence to hear. She knew he was awake.

"Where are my–"

"Not here yet," he said with a thick sigh. He nodded toward Damon. "Farm boy here was, um," he began to whisper more. "Was worried about you, he thought you..." he could hardly bring himself to say it. "he was just as worried as I was...."

She laid a hand on Hayden’s head thoughtfully. "Wake up," she sighed. "Faker," she said with amusement.

He sighed, wiping the drool off his face, then stretching to relive his stiffness. "Heard every word..." he muttered. He crossed his arms, laid them on the edge and rested his head as he starred at Elias.

The two boys communicated in their own language, sending silent messages through eye contact. Elias got up, he walked a few paces, then looked back abruptly at Karin. He left the room.

Damon matched his gaze toward him as he left the room still staring at the door.
They seemed tense, for that brief moment of contact; something ate at her to what they spoke about in those brief few seconds but she cast the though aside.

She looked at him, he had aged since the last time she had seen him. He was little taller, his hair the same uncut mess that she liked; the color of his eyes matched his brown chestnut hair. He wore a white shirt with normal faded blue jeans from what she could tell; his forearms had new cuts, bite marks and other wounds along with some old scares.

He had been away at his mother’s farm, tending to animals along with other matters of life. She always wondered about him as did he, however she had been to shy to even make a simple phone call; she felt pathetic and her eyes began to tear.
Responding to her look he climbed upon the sterile bed placing a hand upon hers. "S’ok, I’m not gonna let you die..."
She was puzzled.

What had he read on my face?

"It’s not that it’s just," she looked away. " I never called,"

"Heh, well you never had my number in the first place... an, I never could remember yours..."

She turned back, with more of a cheerful disposition. "Oh. Um, you still play, Violin?" she squeaked.

"Yeah, damn, I should have brought it,"

A thought lit up in her mind. "Oh, hey how long have I been here and when did you get back,"
He messed with some of his scabs. "9 hours and um..."

"You have to go back..." she solemnly said.

"...Yeah,"

She wanted to cry, the first time in 5 months since she had last seen him, the first time form all of the other Hayden look-alikes she had been confusing with; he was the real deal and she didn’t want him to leave.

"But," he smirked. "I kinda want you to come with me," he whispered as if the walls had ears, tightening the grip on her hand.

The door suddenly opened...

Tale of 4 travelers and others more:A destiny, a blessing, a curse (title in pending)

Lyn (real name is Karin Forester) laughed at her acquaints’s joke. It was hilarious, he would spread the roomer of the class nerd being pregnant and the best part was, that he’s a boy! Joey, the nerd, had been gaining pounds like a fat man on a Big Mac; he was so bloated and more obnoxiously cranky than he usually was actually starting to have a more feminine voice!

"Pure genius" Fairy shouted.
She laughed, and laughed some more and laughed until blood shot out of her nose.

She stopped, that hadn’t happened before; she got out of her chair asked the teacher to go to the
nurse and was on her way.

Most people would think she was a misfit (like Rudolph), her name not being able to meet her behavior and her appearance. She appeared like any other normal teenager, average 5'4 height, nice 110 pounds with a normal voice. Karin’s hair was as black as a crows desires, but her mind was filled with imaginative ones. Her clothes usually portrayed to two sides of her; the dark and gothic look with hardly any make up or the norm preppily colorful side of her. However today was a dressy day and to her dismay she had to have a nose bleed.
Victorian vintage outfits are one of her absolute favorite outfits to dress up in; with its ruffled up front, it droopy sleeves and its skin tightness. That is what she loved to wear and she heard from a friend that most of the girls in Germany ware them with laced up boots; but of course she didn’t know how to walk in heels (though every girl should be taught at birth– ha–what a joke!), so she wore normal flat shoes with a Victorian skirt.

"Oh, what happened?" Nurse Chansey asked.

"Um," she bent over, cupping her hands so not to bleed all over her self. "I guess I laughed to hard,"

"Hrm," she paused. "–do you often bleed like that?" Chansey handed her some napkins and laid her down.

"Only when it gets hot in the summer time, but that comes from my grandmother, um" she swallowed. "I taste blood..."

"Oh that’s normal, spit in the trash bag," she walked slouchingly to the trash can, picked up the half empty bag and gave it to her. "Then you should be fine here, just don’t laugh to hard," she waved her finger. "And you can go back to class in a few minutes." she smiled warmly and headed back in her office.

She felt woozy, nauseated and wished she could go home.

The office door opened, Elias stepped in; he talked to the nurse casually and then noticed Karin.

"Hey!" he shouted and then was shushed immediately by the nurse. He hunched over and creped silently to her side. "Heh, hey," he smiled and she returned his dryly. "Why are you in here, what happened. Hrm. Did you get it to a fi–"

"Heck no!–ugh–" she had raised her head to move but felt a wave of dizziness and reclined. "No, no I just," she sighed. "I laughed to hard," a grin lit up her face as she giggled silently. "I was laughing–ha, ha–at this– ha, ha, ha–joke about–ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha–" she giggled out the remaining blood and they laughed silently together. As she calmed down Elias was facing the nurse talking, she took a deep breath and relaxed.

He turned back from his conversation to face her. "Wow, I though laughing couldn’t kill you, ha, ha, ha." they laughed some more. "No, um, really–" he became slightly serious. "C’mon sis, ya shouldn’t die right now–" his eyes met the floor, his hands curled up in his lap. She wanted to be in his head; wondering what he was thinking about.

He wasn’t really her brother, it was just that they are good friends and besides she had her hear set on other things to be to preoccupied with him, things like Hayden Hunter (but he was another story far too complicated to talk about), anime, art (her greatest passion) and the end of the world–naw, the aftermath of it, yep that’s it. He had a nice build, tall and some muscles covered in some fat but she graded him an ok and never a can do. His hair, black, long, shiny and awesome along with his Marionet and acting skills. He seldom ever told her about his acting career but she knew he had to of had a passion for something; he was an army type guy and for a week he used a full military outfit that made her bark. "Dogs, that what the military jerks are they are all dogs," they both laughed an high fived to a Full Metal Alchemist (an anime show) coversation as they chatted about a random joke in the series as they strived to make a parody called "Full Mental Alchemist" but that died out with their immature 8th grade attitudes.
They walked almost half way to their destination, he hadn’t said a word since he silenced.

"What’s wrong," she said with a concerned look in her eyes.

"Nothing," he sighed, his face steamed with deep thought and apparent frustration. "Ulcers," he barley whispered.

"O.M.G!–n-not again," she shrieked quietly.
The last time he had them was when they were in their Career Class together. He had been typing atrociously and had been complaining about passing out in different class periods; without warning he passed out. Bunk, he it his computer screen. She had though he was tired or playing a joke, but to her surprise and a racing heart she touched he had died. He was ok and a few days later told her more on the situation.
The bell rang when they had cleared up on a conversation about what he was thinking; everything was ok he just hated the ulcer feeling.

"Call me!" he yelled from across the hall.
Late, late, oh my god; I’m gonna be late! She realized she sounded like Mr. Rabbit from Alice in Wonderland.
She was five seconds before the late bell had tolled. Her day was average nothing special went on.

First Landings

(old max is before she had the make over)
NOTE: I’m just starting out fairly simple in writing and still have some kinks to work out along the way so if it looks a bit choppy and sounds odd its because I’m still discovering the dephs of the writer in me.

Neph lands gracefully upon the ground.
Reading the story of Maximum Ride has changed her life (or has introduced an new spectrum of creative writing) and is in thanks to her wonderfully inspiring adventures.
Her wind tossed hair flutters in the placid spring breeze as she surveys the area for a nice spot to compose her thoughts upon paper.
An old oak catches her eyes; its leaves waving hello in the wind. Sounds of birds twittering and the coherent babbling of a babbling brook calms her senses and she begins to compose.
First Landings for me, symbolizes the new start of something new.
I love to write and I love this book like all of the other 100,000+ people who have read it; that’s why I am here, to pour parts of my heart out, to know that I exist and let the world know that I do and most of all to express my opinion.

"A world without opinions isn’t much of a world at all."
-Suki Inu-Shiba

I like it that Fang and Max are a couple, and the ending in School's Out-Forever, rocked. It remined me of the Matrix in some sort of way; because I just finished it right now and it was a real page turner.

(character and what I think of them)

Max. She's awesome and should be more girly with Fang.

Fang should apreciate her for who she is (even if she isn't grily at all)

Angel seems to know something more than she has been telling anyone in the story, even keeping things from herself.

I hope Fang has an awesome ability due to Max's blood transfusion.

Gazzy....now that's an odd name...

Nudge (ha ha ha) reminds me of when I was small, way too talkative lol.

Iggy. Yeah, whoo, blind pyromaniac. (sighs) too bad he can't see his explosions, oh well.

Ari. A bit twisted in Book 2 but if I were geneticly mutated against my will, turned into a freak and my only parent didn't notice me; yeah I think we all would feel that way.

Lissa (the girl kissing fang). Grrr, I feel gealous for Max and mad, thank god she wasn't real XD!

Jeb. I just think there is more to him to find out.

The Voice. That, it, he or she I guess is either the director OR the higher force that sent her to save the world or atleaste guide her in her quest.

And that's all I have to say about the few charcters I like.

-Neph ^-^
